Welcome to GrillMyPitch. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, uploading content, or using any part of GrillMyPitch ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.


2. Description of Service

GrillMyPitch is an AI-powered platform that helps entrepreneurs and founders improve their pitch decks through:

  • Pitch Deck Grills: AI analysis of uploaded pitch decks

  • AI VC Calls: Interactive voice sessions with an AI venture capital agent

  • Investor Readiness Scores: Assessments of pitch quality and preparedness

  • Progress Tracking: Monitoring improvements across sessions

  • Fact Checking: Verification of claims and data in pitch materials


3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use GrillMyPitch. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. You agree to provide a truthful confirmation of your age during account creation.


4. Account Registration

To use GrillMyPitch, you must create an account using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

  • All activities that occur under your account

  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use


5. Credits and Pricing

5.1 Credit System

GrillMyPitch operates on a credit-based system. Different actions consume different credits:

  • Pitch Deck Grill: 1 credit per analysis

  • AI VC Call: 1 credit per call session


5.2 Pricing Tiers

We offer the following one-time credit packages:

  • Intro (Free): 1 Pitch Deck Grill + Investor Readiness Score

  • Hobby ($29): 5 Pitch Grills, 2 AI Pitch Calls, Progress Tracking

  • Plus ($79): 10 Pitch Grills, 5 AI Pitch Calls, Progress Tracking, Fact Checking

  • Pro ($199): All Plus features + Priority Processing, In-Depth Insights, 20 Pitch Grills, 10 Voice Calls, and future access to VC Personas and VC Target List features


5.3 Credit Purchases

  • All credit purchases are one-time transactions

  • Credits do not expire

  • Additional credits can be purchased at any time

  • Payment processing is handled through LemonSqueezy, and you agree to their terms of service


5.4 No Refunds

All purchases are final and non-refundable. Once you complete a purchase, you cannot cancel or obtain a refund for unused credits. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.


5.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Changes will not affect credits already purchased.


6. Intellectual Property Rights


6.1 Your Pitch Decks

You retain all ownership rights to the pitch decks and materials you upload to GrillMyPitch. By uploading content, you grant GrillMyPitch a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to:

  • Process, analyze, and store your pitch deck

  • Generate AI analysis and feedback

  • Conduct AI VC call sessions based on your content

  • Use anonymized data from your pitch deck for future AI model training (with opt-out available)

This license terminates when your content is deleted from our systems.


6.2 AI-Generated Analysis and Feedback

All AI-generated analysis, feedback, scores, insights, call transcripts, and other outputs created by GrillMyPitch are owned by you, the user. You receive full ownership rights to use, modify, and distribute this personalized analysis as you see fit.


6.3 GrillMyPitch Platform

The GrillMyPitch platform, including all software, algorithms, AI models, design, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by GrillMyPitch and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from our platform.


7. Data Usage and AI Training


7.1 Current Data Use

Currently, your pitch decks, AI VC call recordings, and transcripts are used solely to provide you with analysis and feedback. We do not currently use your data to train AI models.


7.2 Future AI Training

In the future, we may use anonymized and encrypted versions of your data to improve our AI models. Before implementing this:

  • We will update our Privacy Policy and notify all users

  • You will have the ability to opt out by emailing grillmypitch@gmail.com

  • Data used for training will be fully anonymized (company names, founder names, and identifying information removed)


8. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Pitch decks are stored for one (1) year after upload, then automatically deleted

  • AI VC call audio files and transcripts are stored for one (1) year, then automatically deleted

  • You may request earlier deletion or data export by emailing grillmypitch@gmail.com

  • Upon account deletion, all your data will be removed from our active systems within 30 days


9. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

  • Upload content you do not own or have the right to use

  • Upload illegal, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent content

  • Use the Service to harass, threaten, or impersonate others

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the Service

  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

  • Abuse the AI system through prompt injection, jailbreaking, or similar techniques

  • Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code

  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization


10. Copyright and DMCA


10.1 Infringement Reporting

If you believe content on GrillMyPitch infringes your copyright, please email grillmypitch@gmail.com with:

  • Description of the copyrighted work

  • Location of the infringing material (if known)

  • Your contact information

  • A statement of good faith belief that use is unauthorized

  • A statement that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act


10.2 Our Response

Upon receiving a valid copyright complaint, we will:

  • Notify the user who uploaded the content

  • Investigate the claim

  • Remove the content if we determine infringement has occurred

  • Terminate repeat infringers' accounts


11. Disclaimers and Limitations


11.1 Not Investment Advice

GrillMyPitch is a practice and preparation tool only. The AI-generated feedback, scores, and analysis do not constitute professional investment advice, financial advice, or endorsement of your business. You should not rely on AI feedback as a substitute for advice from qualified professionals.


11.2 AI Limitations

While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated analysis may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. The "Fact Checking" feature uses internet research but may not catch all factual errors. You are responsible for verifying all critical information in your pitch materials.


11.3 No Guarantee of Results

Using GrillMyPitch does not guarantee that you will:

  • Secure funding from real investors

  • Improve your pitch quality

  • Achieve any specific Investor Readiness Score

  • Receive error-free analysis


11.4 Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service

  • Specific uptime or availability

  • That the Service will meet your specific requirements

  • That AI responses will be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your needs


12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GrillMyPitch and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities

  • Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service

  • Decisions you make based on AI-generated feedback

  • Unauthorized access to your data due to security breaches

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to GrillMyPitch in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.


13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GrillMyPitch from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service

  • Content you upload

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Violation of any third-party rights


14. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration


14.1 Mandatory Arbitration

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if they qualify.


14.2 Arbitration Process

  • Arbitration will be conducted by a neutral arbitrator in accordance with the American Arbitration Association (AAA) rules

  • The arbitration will be held in the United States

  • Each party will bear its own costs and fees

  • The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding


14.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes with GrillMyPitch only on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in class actions, class arbitrations, or representative actions against GrillMyPitch.


14.4 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.


15. Account Termination


15.1 Your Right to Terminate

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request account deletion by emailing grillmypitch@gmail.com. Unused credits are not refundable upon termination.


15.2 Our Right to Terminate

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you:

  • Violate these Terms

  • Abuse the AI system or Service

  • Upload illegal or infringing content

  • Engage in fraudulent activity

  • Are a repeat copyright infringer

  • Pose a security or legal risk

Termination does not entitle you to a refund of purchased credits.


16. Privacy

Your use of GrillMyPitch is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.


17. Third-Party Services

GrillMyPitch uses third-party services to provide functionality:

  • Google/Gemini: AI analysis and processing

  • ElevenLabs: Voice AI for VC calls

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Firebase: Hosting and infrastructure

  • Google Analytics: Usage analytics

  • LemonSqueezy: Payment processing

Your use of these services through GrillMyPitch is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.


18. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document

  • Send you an email notification to your registered email address

  • Display an in-app announcement banner

  • Provide at least 30 days' notice before changes take effect

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.


19. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.


20. Warranties Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement

  • Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free

  • Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI-generated content


21. Export Controls

You may not use or export the Service in violation of U.S. export laws and regulations. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to U.S. embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.


22. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and GrillMyPitch regarding your use of the Service.


23. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.


24. Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
